The Wasted Potentials (originally Token White People) is an innovative conceptual sketch comedy team based in Los Angeles. Since their conception in November 2006, that's right, we said conception, T.W.P. has quickly become a recognized presence in the alternative comedy scene with videos featured on MySpace, Grouper, and live performances in The Comedy Cocktail, LA's hottest sketch comedy show.
Random Acts Productions was founded in 2003 at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX as an experimental sketch, improv, and short film comedy group. For four successful seasons, RAP produced weekly new material including a news & talk show spoof, The Happy Cow Fun Hour, and the internet's only full length sitcom, The Snooze, which produced 26 half hour episodes and was acclaimed by audiences far and wide.
Now based in Los Angeles, CA, Random Acts Productions has entered a new era with the innovative sketch and improv team The Wasted Potentials. Taking over providing material for this site as well as working on adapting and writing original live material, The Wasted Potentials raises the bar on conceptual comedy. Reuniting two of RAP's founding cast members, the new cast is formed of some of the brightest new comedic minds on the scene.
