What is Cartoon World?
A free, web based programming center offering episodes of cult classic TV shows which are either not aired or not readily available to their fans.

What is Random Acts Productions?
RAP is the owner of Cartoon World.  They are an independent film & comedy group based out of LA & Texas who maintain a constant flow of new & original material to the CW Mother Site.  You can view them by clicking any of the "Original Video" Links listed to the left.  Remember:  Watching RAP keeps Cartoon World alive!

What is a "Cult Classic?"
Any show can gain cult status, but those with particularly hardcore fans whether the show did well commercially or not gain the illustrious title.

How often is the site updated & when?
Cartoon World is updated weekly on Saturdays by 5:00PM PST (Pacific Standard Time)  If a late update is to made, it will always be posted on the site to let you know when the update will take place.

How often are different series rotated in & out of the schedule?
Constantly.  The schedule is different every week of every month.  New series and series recirculations occur monthly with each series receiving several months of run time before being moved out of circulation.

Why don't you make all of the series available all of the time?
No outside site will host copyrighted material, therefore, the Webmaster must pay for the disk space and bandwidth himself which is quite costly.  Besides that, it gives him something to do on Friday nights.

Why is the site called Cartoon World if you air live action series as well?
Originally, all the site aired was cartoons, the addition of live series was in September 2006, and the name stayed because it was still the focus of the site and known by many loyal viewers by that name.

Can I write in to Cartoon World with Questions & Comments?
Please do!  We love hearing from you and they are often personally answered on the Main Page.

Can I request an episode of a series?
Yes, in the Feedback Form on the main page.  Terms & conditons do apply, they are as follows:
1)  The series you are requesting the episode from must be in the current series circulation.  Check the Available Series page before your     request.
2)  If the episode you request was aired within the last year, it will not be aired again, and you will have to re-request at a later date.
3)  CW does not have every episode of every series we offer, this also prevents some requests from being granted.

Can I request a series to be added to the lineup?
Yes, but it doesn't mean we'll add it.  We are very picky about what we show.

What are the ratings?
The ratings rank which shows were most watched over a certain period.  They are posted for the previous week's shows and then totalled and posted for the previous month.  Why?  So you'll know how your favorite shows are doing!

What is the Cartoon World Showcase?
The CW Showcase was a video made by CW to let you know about upcoming series & specials, it also includes viewer mail and clips form CW shows.  The Cartoon World Showcase was updated weekly and played automatically when you entered the site.  We have stopped doing it as off Feb. 2007.

What is MP4 Video?
The video format used to compress video for this site.  It offers higher quality sound & picture compared to its alternatives allowing us to show more video on the site at one time.  To view our videos, you must have the latest version of Quicktime installed on your computer.

Why is the Webmaster such a jerk?
He's a bitter, bitter man with a low tolerance for stupidity who is tired of receiving the same questions over and over.  Through his unique brand of Bastardry, he has weeded out those not worthy of the site and established a flourishing community of faithful, intelligent CW viewers worthy of his free, weekly services.  If you piss him off, you will hear about it.  So get over it!
